Yeah I hear ya. I call them motherfuckers. There have been events like these in my family in which some bonehead, said something that could ruin a life and then denied it, adding insult to injury.
Or when someone denies having ever said a comment which he made many times. Saying the you imagined it. So he’s being a dick and a liar.
