Some of you have noticed that in order to leave a comment here now, you must have a Blogger account. The reason is that SPAM has made it’s way through the word verification system and when I came back from vacation I found 2 spam comments.
So for now that’s how it’s gonna be. Sorry.

2 spams is light, probably hand written, like some spam that gets by my anti-spam software on wordpress.
should I go back to the old settings then? I just thought 2 spams in 2 days was a lot…
I would. It’s if you get 200 in a day that’s worrysome. 2 in a day sounds handwritten to me
If you get WORDPRESS, get AKISMET spam blocker. Out of >600 spams, none got through so far. Plus on WP you can configure comments to not allow more the X number of links, force moderation on first time commenters and so forth and a bunch of other features. The ONLY gripe I have against WP is the security levels are so high that embedding video is impossible unless you have a plugin for it.

You can just do “comment moderation” so only the comments you want get published.
I hope that all spammers get a scortching case of anal herpes.
